- Let Your Hair Air Dry:
Letting your hair air dry will give you more natural curls and cause less frizz. As the air drying process goes on feel free to add leave in conditioner or other products that will hold your curls shape and keep them silky and frizz free.
- Use a Curling Iron:
Even if you have natural curls, using a curling iron can create a new style for you. The curling iron allows you to add volume to your bouncy curls or you can make tighter curls appear more wavy.
- Use a Wide Tooth Comb:
Instead of a normal brush, use a wide tooth comb to brush your curls. This eliminates breakage and allows the curls to keep their shape without being brushed out. When combing through knotty hair, start at the ends of hair instead of the top, this also eliminates the damage that is done to your hair by ripping through those knots.
- Keep Curls Intact:
In a spray bottle, create a mixture of half water and half leave-in conditioner. Spritz the bottle throughout the ends of your hair to revive your curls or restyle them. If you are not washing your hair everyday, this is a good technique to keep your curls looking fresh, clean, and smelling good.
